Technical Info

Schoenberg Hall seats about 520, depending on the configuration.  The rich acoustics make it well suited for acoustic performances and lectures.  But we have also hosted large concerts, chamber orchestras, amplified sound, theatrical performances, opera and dance.

The large stage has an approximately 40′ wide proscenium and a playable depth of about 48 feet.  The height of the proscenium is 18′.  The floor is black painted Masonite on a sprung fir floor.

Full lighting house package run on an ETC Ion Console, 190 dimmers.  A light plot, inventory, and instrument schedule are available for more detail (we even have a cheat sheet, but don’t tell anyone).

Complete house sound system with a Midas M32 digital sound board.  A range of sound options and equipment are available, including wireless mics.

High definition multi-media video projector and screen. Rear projection screen and projector available if needed.

RTS 2-channel headset system, and audio monitor feeds to dressing rooms, green room and light booth.

We are in the process of overhauling our rigging system. Most batons are dead-hung at approximately 22′, however several of our electrics are motorized. The ceiling height is 24’6″.
